‘Basketball Junkie:’ Chris Herren Brings His Anti-Drug Message to Wareham
Former basketball star and Fall River native Chris Herren was the featured speaker at the Wareham Stop the Violence, Increase the Peace rally. Herren spoke frankly about his battles with addiction and finally attaining sobriety. His memoir, co-authored with Providence sportswriter Bill Reynolds, “Basketball Junkie: A Memoir” is due out in May.
